Free IT Assessment
A senior engineer reviews your current IT setup — infrastructure, cloud environment, security posture, and backup coverage — and delivers a written report of what’s working, what’s at risk, and what to fix first.
~45 minutes of your time. No sales pitch.
What the assessment covers
01 — Infrastructure review
How your servers, workstations, and network are configured. What’s current. What’s end-of-life. Where the gaps are.
02 — Cloud & identity posture
Your Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace setup — MFA adoption, admin account exposure, email authentication, and how devices are managed (or not).
03 — Security posture
Firewall policy, network segmentation, logging, endpoint protection, and patch management. The controls most businesses think they have but don’t.
04 — Backup & recovery
Whether backups exist, whether they work, and how long recovery would actually take. Most businesses have never tested a restore.
05 — Regulatory exposure
If you’re subject to HIPAA, SOC 2, or state privacy laws — a quick read of whether your current setup creates obvious regulatory exposure.

What you get from the assessment
A written report
Not a slide deck or a sales proposal. A plain-language document that tells you what your IT environment looks like, where the risks are, and what to prioritise.
A prioritised action list
Ranked by severity — critical, moderate, low. You’ll know what needs attention now versus what can wait six months. No jargon. No invented urgency.
An honest conversation
If your setup is solid, we’ll tell you. If working with Klaravex isn’t the right fit for your situation, we’ll tell you that too. The assessment is genuinely free.
Common questions
Is this really free?
Yes. No hidden fees, no “free trial” that converts to a subscription. We offer the assessment because it consistently results in clients who understand why they need what we provide — and clients who don’t are the wrong fit anyway.
What do you need from me to do the assessment?
A 45-minute call and answers to some straightforward questions about your setup. No admin access required before we’ve agreed to work together. The call is enough to generate a useful first report.
Will you try to sell me something afterwards?
We’ll share what a managed service engagement could look like if the assessment surfaces things we can help with. That’s a single conversation — not a follow-up campaign. You can say no and keep the report.
What size of company is this for?
US businesses with 5–150 employees and no dedicated internal IT. If you have a full-time IT team, this probably isn’t the right fit. If you’re figuring IT out as you go — or relying on a single part-time person — it is.
How long until I get the written report?
Within three business days of the assessment call. We send a PDF document — not a follow-up pitch deck.
Know where you stand.
Most IT problems that become expensive were visible long before they broke. The assessment gives you that visibility — before something forces the issue.
